Biography
Briana Prieto is a Florida and Georgia licensed attorney with over 7 years of experience handling personal injury cases. Early in her career, Ms. Prieto defended insurance carriers and trucking companies in litigation against various personal injury claims. After seeing injustice again and again, Ms. Prieto decided she would spend the rest of her career fighting for the injured and making a difference in the lives of everyday people. Her passion for advocating for the injured was further strengthened by her own experience when she herself became a victim of a motor vehicle accident which was caused by a driver who valued texting while driving over the safety of herself and others. As a result, Ms. Prieto understands what her clients are going through and truly has a passion for fighting to hold responsible parties accountable. Her experience on the defense has given her perspective and insight and thus, an upper hand at obtaining the best possible results for her clients.
Ms. Prieto is originally from Wisconsin but spent 10 years living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida while attending school and starting her career in law. She now lives in Peachtree City, Georgia with her husband and two young children. When she is not advocating for her clients, Ms. Prieto enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in the community, and exploring the outdoors.
Ms. Prieto received her law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of the Georgia Bar Association and Florida Bar Association. Ms. Prieto is admitted to practice in Georgia, Florida and the United States District Court Southern District of Florida.
